Keith Beaty, my normal hiking buddy, was not able to do a spring hike with me this year.  I decide to do a leisurely solo hike down the South Kaibab and up the Bright Angel.  I tried for months to get the steak dinner at Phantom Ranch both nights down there, but struck completely out for the first time.

       I am driving from Oklahoma and arriving a day or two early so I can do a new hike I just heard about to the Four Sisters Natural Bridges (trip report here).
