The Cape Royal Trail is at the south end of Cape Royal Road, about 26 miles from
the North Rim Lodge. The paved trail begins at the parking lot. It
is very easy walking and only one-quarter mile to the trail junction sign.
Turn left for a few hundred yards and you can walk out on top of the Angel's
Window. Continue down the trail another quarter-mile and you reach Cape
Royal Point, where there are great views of the inner Canyon including Wootan's
Throne and Vishnu Temple. Restrooms are located in the parking lot.
