I was going to do this hike solo last fall, but a severe case of blisters caused by a different brand of boots prevented that.  When I was at Horn Creek on another solo hike, I met Keith, a guy my age who was also on a solo hike.  We talked a while and agreed to hike some, so this is our first hike together.

     Last week I did a Cape Solitude hike and got to see the confluence of the Colorado River and Little Colorado River from on top.  I'm looking forward to seeing that same area from the bottom.  Our plan is to camp the first night at the Redwall, nights two and three at Palisades Creek, a day hike the third day to the confluence, night four at Tanner Rapids, and night five back at the Redwall.
